One night, as I stood in the Tate Modern’s gigantic Turbine Hall, I looked up at the floors opposite and was captivated by the interplay of light and space. The repeating fluorescent tubes created a mesmerizing blur, juxtaposing a warm glow against the cool darkness of the concrete. My aim in ‘Overlooking the Turbine Hall’ was to capture something of that enigmatic, almost otherworldly atmosphere I experienced in that wonderful and iconic space that night.
