“All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players;

William Shakespeare, As You Like It

The threads of our lives are woven from the relationships that shape us—family, friends, lovers. Some connections fade, others are tragically lost, but all leave an indelible mark. This collection explores those relationships, from cherished memories to bittersweet endings. Each painting is a chapter of my life: “Gone, But Not Forgotten” honours lost friends, “Fading Away” reflects on a past love, and “Banquo at the Stage Door” revisits my theatre years. I hope these paintings evoke reflections on your own relationships, as you explore the cherished, the bittersweet, and everything in between within the works themselves.
