Shadowlands
Shadowlands brings together paintings about the people and experiences that have left their mark on my life. Some look outward to family, friends, lovers, and the relationships that helped make me who I am. Others turn inward, reflecting on earlier versions of myself and the lives I have lived.
The series is divided into two strands. Dancing with the shadows of those I have known… explores the people who shaped my life. Dancing with the shadows of those I have been… looks back at different versions of myself — through theatre, place, Irish identity, and the different stages of a life.
