Shadowlands

I’ve always been fascinated by shadows. They move, they change, appearing and disappearing in the dancing light. Watching them, I often think about how chance and good fortune have played out as light and shadow in my life—from where, when and to whom I was born through the countless moments that might so easily have gone another way.

These paintings give form to that light and shadow—different chapters, different characters, different perspectives, yet all part of the same adventure.

They are not a chronology—just moments from one life, still unfolding.
