In this painting, I sought to capture a candid moment between two old friends, Keith Hendriksen and Petr (Peter) Schiller, as they sat lost in thought and conversation. Using a photorealistic approach, I aimed to convey the ease and depth of their friendship and the sense of lives well-lived.
