As an artist who lives and works in Chelsea, I frequently cross Albert Bridge on my way to and from Battersea Park. Viewed from there, the sunrises and sunsets are among the most beautiful in London. In “Albert Bridge Sunset,” I wanted to capture the magic of one such moment—the golden hour when the sun’s warm glow illuminates the sky and river, transforming the iconic bridge into a majestic silhouette. The interplay of light, colour, and reflections on the water’s surface creates a mesmerizing scene. A scene which, if only for a moment, suspends reality and transports one into a parallel, ethereal world in which all one’s senses are fully engaged. I hope “Albert Bridge Sunset” will give you at least a glimpse into that magical world.
