The sea has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Dublin, it was never far away.
The Night Tide grew out of memories of walking by the sea at night — the darkness, the movement of the water, the moonlight dancing on it, and the sense of being alone with your thoughts.
Painted from memory, it is less a seascape than a distillation of those memories.
