During a backpacking trip through Morocco, I encountered this local woodworker whose warm presence and skilled craftsmanship left a lasting impression. I was struck by the man’s friendly demeanour and the obvious pride he took in his work. I included the tools in the background, as a reminder of the enduring value of handmade goods and the skilled hands that create them.
